Joel Coleman is the Great Lakes Market Leader in the Central Division. As the Market Leader, Joel’s primary responsibility is to attract, retain, and develop talented Financial Advisors. Joel works closely with the Divisional Team, Branch Managers, and field leadership in an effort to support Financial Advisors by connecting them with strategic enterprise partnerships to help them better serve their clients. Joel is actively involved in serving on committees to help increase diversity, equity, and inclusion within the firm.

Joel got his start in the investment industry as a stockbroker in 1989 and became a manager in 1997. Before joining Wells Fargo in 2012, Joel spent several years in leadership at Morgan Stanley in the Denver metro area. Prior to becoming a Market Leader, Joel served as a Regional Manager & Branch Manager for Wells Fargo Advisors.

Joel was born in Houston, Texas, and went to College in Colorado where he met his wife of 30 years, Tina. Joel is a graduate of Colorado Tech University with a BA in management. Joel and Tina, along with two of their three children, relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana, in 2022.
